CheatCodeAI is a desktop app for macOS, Windows, and Linux that gives you real-time AI assistance during technical interviews. It has two tools:

• Spectator: capture a screenshot of a coding or system-design problem and get a worked solution in seconds.
• Souffler: a live audio assistant that transcribes the conversation and suggests answers as questions come up.

The app runs in a private overlay. With Protection Mode on, its window is hidden from standard screen sharing and recording, and it stays out of the Dock, taskbar, and app switcher.

• A Mac with Apple Silicon (macOS 12+), a 64-bit Windows PC, or a 64-bit Linux PC (beta).
• An internet connection. The app does not work offline.
• A CheatCodeAI account with an active subscription or trial.
• You must be located in the United States and be at least 18 years old.

1. Download and install CheatCodeAI, then sign in with your email.
2. Choose whether to enable Protection Mode when prompted, and grant microphone and screen recording permissions.
3. Configure your setup: pick your display, microphone, and programming language.
4. Open Spectator to solve on-screen problems, or Souffler for live audio assistance.

• Coding Interviews
  Screenshot a problem and get a solution with explanation and complexity analysis, in your choice of 14 programming languages. Works with LeetCode, HackerRank, CodeSignal, CoderPad, and anything else on your screen.
• System Design
  A dedicated mode for architecture questions: component choices, database trade-offs, and scaling strategies.
• Audio Assistant
  Live English transcription of your interview with suggested answers generated as each question is asked.
• Privacy and Security
  Your screenshots, audio, and transcripts are processed in real time and are not stored on our servers. Recordings stay on your own device.
